ARCHBISHOP Philip Tartaglia (above) showed he was up for the cup recently as he lent his backing to a brand new Missio Scotland initiative launched in partnership with the Glasgow Catholic Schools Football Association. Primary schools from across the archdiocese began competing for the Pope’s Charity Cup at the start of September and the semi-final stage of the football competition, with St Anne’s Primary School in Dennistoun and St Mirin’s Primary School in Kings Park already having booked their places. Getting ready for Extraordinary Mission Month

WHILE Scotland's preparations for Extraordinary Mission Month in October are underway with many people participating in the #MyMission campaign, the Vatican has announced plans of its own to celebrate it.
