Mission Rosary
The Mission Rosary is a special form of the prayer, established in 1951 by Venerable Archbishop Fulton J Sheen, US National Director of Missio. He saw the need for us to pray for the whole world, especially for those who are poor and vulnerable. As such, the Mission Rosary is different from a traditional Rosary because it is made up of five different colours, with each colour representing a different continent in the world, so as to encourage us to pray for children in that continent living in poverty and adversity.
