TRAINING AND EDUCATION

Most of the world’s mission dioceses are found in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Often the Christian communities found in these regions cannot provide the resources and facilities needed to assist local people who are called to religious life. Despite sacrifices being made by families and parishes, they struggle to cover the costs of training, while also supporting day-to-day basic needs makes becoming a sister, priest, brother or catechist very challenging.

 

Training and educating ensures the gift of faith will be shared with generations to come. By preparing tomorrow’s Church leaders, teachers and carers, your support plays an essential role. You ensure that anyone who has a religious vocation is not turned away because of financial difficulties.
